During the pandemic, I had a lot of extra time, and even though I tried to stay indoors as much as possible, I also wanted to capture the city of Amsterdam in these strange times. Walking through the city with the absence of tourists - and people in general - created a feeling of intimacy and an opportunity to view Amsterdam in a different way.
